Question 1
OA Round (codility) -
1. There a N boxes arranged in a row, where kth box contains A[k] bricks. The problem asks for the minimum moves to distribute bricks such that every box has exactly 10 bricks.
2. Seating arrangement in an airline. An airplane has N rows of seats, numbered from 1 to N. There are ten seats in each row (labelled from A to K, with letter I omitted). Some of the seats are already reserved. The list of reserved seats is given as a string S (of length M) containing seat numbers separated by single spaces: for example, "1A 3C 2B 20G 5A". The reserved seats can be listed in S in any order. Your task is to allocate seats for as many four-person families as possible. A four-person family occupies four seats in one row that are next to each other—seats across an aisle (such as 2C and 2D) are not considered to be next to each other. It is permissible for the family to be separated by an aisle, but in this case exactly two people have to sit on each side of the aisle (for example, seats D, E and F, G within the center block). Obviously, no seat can be allocated to more than one family.

This was hard question if you have never solved it before as it involves a robot moving in a matrix infinitely having obstacles in the matrix. Whenever there is a obstacle the robot turns left 90 degree and move head.
They think that makes this question difficult is infinite steps. The robot never stops

Interview
0. Recruiter reached out. Explained the process and work model will be hybrid. 2-3 days in office.
1. screening, few questions on project and DSA medium problem related to Graph
2. System design - there were two interviewers and they asked me to build the system which they are building in the company. I was sort of surprised and found it funny that they expect me to build there system.
3. Hiring Manager, worst of it all. Kept interrupting while I was answering. Didn’t listen to what I was answering. Constantly replying to those annoying slack messages. He said he wants his team to be in office for 5 days no exception, he was of the opinion that people take advantage of WFH and productivity is low. I asked him for any metric that points to increase in productivity, he shot me down saying why do I need it.
The meeting was supposed to for 30 mins but went on for 90 mins. No respect for other person’s time. I feel sorry for his reportees.
I wasted total 8 hours of my time for this interview, including commute.
After a week or so recruiter called for one more round with leadership. I told them hiring manager is RED FLAG and I can’t work with him.

Interview
Technical Round 1: The discussion was primarily based on my resume, projects, and fundamental concepts related to Machine Learning, AI, Cloud, and Databases. The interviewer focused on understanding my project work rather than going into excessive depth. There was also one DSA coding question (similar to a LeetCode problem) to solve. The interaction was clear, structured, and comfortable throughout the round.
Hiring Manager Round: This round was mainly focused on cultural fit, communication skills, and understanding my experiences and career interests. It was highly interactive and conversational.
Overall Experience: The entire interview process was well-organized, interactive, and professionally conducted. The interviewers communicated clearly, creating a positive and comfortable experience throughout the process.
