Pros

Smart coworkers and good pay. I think the pay is the primary reason people join the company. Nice offices

Cons

Tendency to hire too many people before finding anything near product market, then reacting to the lack of success in the market by laying a lot of people off and starting the cycle anew. Had a really terrible executive who liked to talk about his time at google a lot. He was clearly very political and contributed to what was becoming a poisonous work environment. Thankfully the word on the street is that he has been removed from power. The ceo knows how to scale existing business models but is clueless when it comes to building technology. This issue is exacerbated by his seeming unwillingness to take any advice or recognize his shortcomings. Company does not seem interested in innovating and is hyper focused on serving churches. When interviewing you will likely hear lip service about building solutions for the recovery/rehab space as well, but this is misleading and disingenuous in my opinion.

Pros

- Decent pay - Flexibility in working remotely - Good snacks

Cons

- Company claims to be about "human flourishing," but it is more interested in the flourishing of the Christian celebrities and business leaders with whom they're associated - Company claims to "serve those who serve," but leadership regularly is interested in serving their own interests. Leaders in my division wouldn't speak to me or even make eye contact unless they needed something. Very self-serving. - Be prepared for chaos. Constant restructuring and internal passive aggressive fighting between teams. Constant layoffs. - Claims to be serving churches, but mainly only churches that fit their evangelical, nondenominational, megachurch definition. - Leadership will use Christian language but are there to inflate their own ego. - Not only hypocritically un-Christlike, but also unprofessional. Layoffs are constant, yet handled very poorly. - Poor culture across the company. May be alright in individual teams, but poor communication and collaboration.
