Pros
Some of clients are interesting, plus there is opportunity to meet some interesting British political figures (if you’re into that)
Cons
There are about 2 or 3 stand out teams that carry the rest of the company. The others lack any resource and get overly pressurised - then fired - by senior management. Horrible atmosphere in the London office. No one seems to speak to each other. Seems to be making people miserable and they all end up quitting Senior management are waaaay out of touch with juniors. They put way too much pressure on junior staff and fail to provide enough support or reassurance during busy times. A weird kinda British ‘stuff upper lip’ thing seems to be the norm. Constant focus on business development to the detriment of supporting actual current clients Some of the team leads are actively horrible and hated, yet seem to keep their jobs somehow (even when the people they manage end up quitting). Has happened at least 3 or 4 times but management just seems to ignore it for ~reasons~
