Cons
Meetings take management out of the game. Management experience is not best utilized. No management on off shifts. Works well for motivated employees, exploited by not motivated employees. Creates a push you, pull me relationship for middle management. These experiences are specific to my location. A non union culture was introduced into a union setting with mixed results. We are limited on employee head count where other facilities are not. This creates the overworking of middle management, do more with less. Poor moral and a recent turnover rate that is uncommon to the shop, which has been in business for 30+ years. Many employees have been with the company since the start and those who are management have been forced into positions unfamiliar to their skill set and well.......we know what poor evaluations lead to.....
