      Pros

      You arent completely unemployed. There is a 401K contribution match up to %6.

      Cons

      Total compensation has been cut by over 20 percent in the form of incentive being effectively cut out and greatly restricted overtime. However, with employees barely getting by, we are told to work harder. Morale is completely gone and nobody cares. You are only a replaceable number here and it shows.

      Pros

      Large company, reasonable compensation & benefits, some opportunities for advancement. The company culture was much stronger in the past, but it has declined significantly in recent years due a lack of vision and leadership at the top.

      Cons

      The office environment became extremely toxic. The majority of upper management became extremely disconnected, and the company became very reactionary. There was a mass exodus of very talented professionals that began in late 2012 and continued into 2014.

      Pros

      Pay check and co-worker is now my supervisor. Process of elimination worked well for me, not so much for the Fab 5 Managers that got the Axe in Dec. New employees have no clue about historical rolling lay-offs.

      Cons

      Company has been in decline for several years, numerous changes at top level of management ..Many of them fled to Nucor, US Steel , Commerical metals... Rolling lay-offs and outsourcing rampant. Terrible front- line Shared Service management ....
