Pros

There aren't any pros at all

Cons

- People are leaving in their DROVES (approximately 1 a week) and no new people have been brought in to replace them. - Even long term staff, who've been here for over 15 years, have been quitting - Pay is nowhere CLOSE to competitive - Perks are the bare minimum - 9 -6 working day - Career progression is completely non existent for the majority - Half the business works on an in-house programming language. If you get stuck on Velocity, you can wave your future goodbye - Strict about working from home pre-COVID - Inflexible hybrid working policy - Restructuring every year, if not more often. Can't make up their minds as they yo-yo between approaches - You'll most likely be placed on a customer team, which means constant firefighting bugs and complaints and barely any proper coding - You'll most likely be working on the old school monolith products. Unlikely to ever touch modern technologies, that's reserved for a select few who get all the opportunities - A lot of stuff is siloed to NZ or Aus, good luck trying to get help from them - Constant micromanagement - Timesheets - Bland office - Culture is poor - Managers do not listen to their employees, if you complain you're labelled a problem - Would give zero stars if I could

Pros

If you want to be the intersection of transportation and digital transformation, and have an actual solution which isn't vapor ware to support, this is a great company. Team has been working together for a long time, and they are super knowledgeable and eager to help you in role.

Cons

Some of their back office processes could use some sharpening up - to be expected for a small company, and they are working on them actively.
