Pros
If you're new to sales or looking to get your foot into the door then this is a great place to build your foundations. Make no qualms about it you will be worked extremely hard, and management is often too set in their ways to change things. Like any other sales job if you close a lot of business you will make good $$, however your mental health will pay.
Cons
Management is too set in their ways to change things. Despite down years they fail to change things up and only put the blowtorch on you more to improve by requesting increase activity numbers. FYI for management or anyone reading this - if companies are asking us not to bother them then maybe we shouldn't be increasing our reach out to them. Advice to potential new starters - Be in control of your client list - Managers will be driven by their own motivations and in doing so could jeopardise your deals. It is not uncommon to see AEs tell their managers one thing, and to do it completely differently to protect their deals. Finally your mental health will pay here. Seeing people in tears or hearing about people talking about their mental health in the office really puts things into perspective.
