Pros

The team that you work in is super friendly and willing to help you succeed. The base pay is quite good depending on your experience and previous industry experience. Gartner is also leanet with their expenses and discount policies. Gartner is a well respected company in the US - NOT CANADA. Best training experience

Cons

Alot to list. First off the reviews below are mostly fake or created by Gartner's management. The longevity of each rep is under 3 years, so that tells you about the career advancement. The main issue with the sales org is that Gartner is over priced and the value is certainly watered down. If you're joining the Canada team make sure you stay in the end user segment. This is because all large technology companies are based in the US and the subs dont have local decision making. In addition, remember that you're not selling consulting - nothing is promised to the customer. So you're selling advice at best. Even in the end user segment, customers now rely more on social networking and references for best practices.

Pros

Culture & Team collaboration, Benefits, PTO Policy

Cons

Probably the biggest con is our data management systems, something they're working on but needs improvement

Pros

Being a globally recognized company makes it easy to consistently engage clients. Great benefits. Amazing people (managers and colleagues) For the most part there is a clear path to success and promotions. Executives listen to feedback after every internal call to help guide strategy.

Cons

In office mandate increasing in office days from once a month to once a week. Need to live in Florida or Texas because of the in office mandate. Promotions take a while since there are many people going for the same roles. Hard to reach clients and constant territory’s shifting makes it difficult to achieve the numbers you and management expect.
