Pros
In today’s economy, the free food and drinks helped a lot in terms of minimizing daily expenses. The company events are nice though.
Cons
Working here became a nightmare in the long run. Workload became unbearable, and work life balance went downhill. Production Support will pester you with phone calls during off and unholy hours should they find an issue, even if it’s minor and can wait until the next business day. Pretty annoying with the follow ups as well since some issues are not easy to fix. Also had a higher up that won’t mentor unless the task came directly from them, and would pass all this mentoring work to the senior level. This person also loses temper quite fast, and will notice a significant raise in their tone while speaking once you ask questions and the discussion takes longer than expected. Working here was okay at first, but became really detrimental for my mental health in the long run. Not to mention I was also underpaid for my position (company paying less than what they are willing to pay for the position). No remote work option as well.
