Pros

-Years ago, there was an engaged and supportive culture. -Over my decade working there I had experiences that I'm truly glad to received.

Cons

-Immature and out of touch C-suite. -Honestly extremely asinine decisions from the C-suite that have huge ripple effects on employees that are made haphazardly. -Upper management team isn't much better. I've seen them talk crap about employees and joke about getting people fired. -Compensation is sub-par for the stress. They will milk you past the value of every dollar they pay you. -Used to have a double-digit profit sharing. Now there's some level of 401k matching and an extremely unclear bonus structure. It's really not clear who earns bonus or why. Some associates who performed similar to those with bonuses did not receive a bonus. -There's currently a push to keep their workforce less tenured and cut anyone who uses PTO or isn't a "yes man". If you join, just be prepared to use them for the very surface level benefits that are written down. So you want free claims training and a license? Do it. -Frequent lying to associates. They're trying to clear up this perception by just not being direct. Expect very simple questions to be answered like you just asked a politician; lots of words but no content and no promises. Trust me anyways, if they promise anything, they're going to make sure it's not in writing and then gaslight you .

Pros

Interesting problems to work on. Good benefits. Decent pay.

Cons

Managers will gaslight you and upper leadership is constantly changing, so expect projects you're working on to be thrown out every 6 months. Many people burn out and quit after some time and are never back filled, so you'll be expected to take on their workload. Some of my colleagues were working 80 hour work weeks to keep up with the work load and yet told they were not performing well enough. There also wasn't much diversity.
