Pros

The pay, profit sharing, schedule flexibility, potlucks, team meetings. It's a great experience to add to your resume. Useful when looking for better opportunities. They also have relocation opportunities

Cons

Most days you literally don't get a second to breathe before the next call comes in. You get 2 fifteen minute breaks and a 45 minute lunch. They took away personal time so you must fit your restroom time in during your break or be asked why you need to use the restroom. Micromanage is an understatement. Your supervisor is literally over your shoulder for your calls making it very uncomfortable. The metrics are a bit ridiculous. They have started to force selling on those of us who simply got hired for customer service positions. The metrics for selling property insurance have been boosted in the last three yrs so you could actually lose your job for not being a great seller. Since these changes have come about there has been a spike in turnover and the geico office in Indy is starting to panic and ask why. You could get a new supervisor at any time and they hire those fresh out of college who don't know anything about insurance let alone Geico. So you get stuck with a new supervisor that's supposed to help you but you end up knowing more than them.

Pros

I had the opportunity to meet Nancy Pierce during a visit to our office, and she was very personable and engaging. It made a strong impression to see leadership so approachable and willing to connect with employees. Overall, I genuinely enjoy working here and feel supported in my role.

Cons

No significant downsides to mention at this time.

Pros

Strong opportunities for career growth Many people are willing to mentor and support others without expecting anything in return Supportive culture, even from people who may not know you personally Increased focus on education and development, especially for leaders More company activities at the local office, which has been a welcome change Fun associate engagement opportunities like escape rooms, art activities, games, and food events So many opportunities for recognition

Cons

There are still some areas where the company appears to be rebuilding trust and confidence Change is noticeable and appreciated, but some improvements are still in progress Feedback has clearly helped shape recent changes, and it will be good to see that progress continue
