Pros

The shift times are nice, and the fact that you work from home and can decide on your own which shifts work better for you is good. The people you have a chance to speak to are all very friendly individuals, I cant personally say much negative when it comes to the encounters with the mentors or project leaders. Only thing that comes to mind would be that when you get time for a personal chat with a mentor, the person flies through their rant which makes it impossible to remember all the points they made. Also makes it a very hard time to ask any question...

Cons

On the outside GDCC tries to persuade themselves as a carrier opportunity for everyone anywhere, flexible and with good pay. They promise good counseling and an opportunity to grow in the company. The work is monotone to say the least. GDCC sets completely unachievable goals for their projects, which quotas they constantly pressure teams to fulfill. Again these quotas are impossible to meet. They are probably set that high to have a valid reason not to make you pass the probation period. The probation period is set to 4 weeks from first day of work, I was personally contacted by an employee only after 3 weeks worth of work just to be told I dont meet the astronomically high quotas for the project. I asked the employee about how many others failed which he responded to with most of the batch. Well if you set the quota bar to humanly impossible levels then dont expect people to pass the probation period, but I guess this is their business plan. It is easier to constantly get a new batch of people to work a lot of hours on their "probation period" because they want to shine, and show their motivation as a new employee, than having people pass and continue working with the knowledge of how the company is ran... Forget about a stable empleyment here, even if you somehow make it past the probation period, they will eventually kick you out whenever you fall a bit behind. To them it is not about people and building a relation with the employee, it is about quick and cheap labor, kick out, and next batch.. If you are looking for a quick way of making a little buck from home for about a month go for it. But if you are after a good relation with the company employing you, and wanty to feel safe that you aren't going to loose your job day to day then STAY AWAY

Pros

You're on call, you can see when/where they want you a couple of hours beforehand. Most Supervisors are really sweet, fair people. Bonus break coupons awarded by the appointed Supervisor that day/night. A well-respected, truly Global Company offering several different roles to grow into. (Not just the Western Hemisphere and the Phillipines)

Cons

Get a really bad list of phone numbers that don't render results within 2 hours, and you're dismissed from that shift. (your pay is affected.) Oodles of charts and very small lettering (thank God for the colorful highlights) on every email. Ghost Work: chat platform is ONLY you and the Supervisor + Operational Supervisor - you can't send messages to your other "teammates". Misleading scheduling: when hired you are told to set a schedule for the first 30 days and not to deviate from it, that you can make changes after 30 days. After 30 days you are told that you CAN'T change your basic set schedule for the upcoming month, only "request certain days." High turnover of employees due to these factors, and low pay.
