Pros
I like how Sitel didn't fire me or lay everybody off when they bought out the company I worked for, truly I am grateful for that.
Cons
I loathe how Sitel downgraded my benefits. I had great benefits at Sykes, life was grand. Then Sitel bought out the company and about a year later we now have their benefits. When I went to enroll, my premiums doubled for worse coverage, and it wasn't showing me the correct benefits. After I reached out to on-site HR, called several HR departments, and spent multiple hours on the phone I discovered that Sitel considers me an "Agent" at a job that usually requires a bachelors in Business administration and Marketing. Agents get terrible benefits. They told me I don't have affordable health insurance available to me, because I am an "Agent." I wish there was a position within social media for me to be promoted to, so I could strive to get good benefits someday, but there isn't. I have reached the top rung in Social Media at our location.
