Pros

In general (apart from the odd few you always get in any work place) good friendly, and funny colleagues who help the day go by.

Cons

Long unsociable hours, working Saturdays , a very flawed commission scheme, rude and lazy team leaders and very low paid work for what is an extremely stressful and mentally draining job. You are constantly told to get off and cut down on your wrap time if you go over 3 minutes on each and are expected to take another call before you have even finished doing your notes.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
