Been lied to from the 1st second. - The training course is just a "lets see if any one in management doesn't like any of the newcomers so we can get rid of them ASAP". They tell you the course doesn't filter out anymore, guess what, it very much does. No one even bothers saying hi to new comers, since they probably won't stay. And they kicked out a few of the best people.
Doesnt matter how many years of experience you have, if you quit to move to the company, if they chased you through months and you passed every test with flying colors, data analyst, data scientist, core researcher, all kicked out in a second.
- Very much as yes man culture. Never argue with any manager. Turnover is very high and most employees dont stay more than a year at best.
Unoffical dont ask dont tell Policy. Never ever say anything that can be seen as hardship or unyielding. Once you are on someone's rader, you might as well search for a new job.
- many of the perks got cancelled since the company is unprofitable. Fear mongering, which was consistent throughout my time, kept everyone in line, complacent and silent.
- You are required to work nights, holidays, weekends. Yup, every analyst, every data scientist, every core researcher. They say it rarely happens, but it very much happen often.
- Other lies include (but not limited to!) who quit and who got fired, sayings like "no customer ever leaves us cause we are the best", ah yes, except all of those who did and are leaving and of course they dont mention all the POCs lost.
I wish I could say this was one manager, or employee, but this culture is rooted straight from top to bottom. Honestly the worst work place I've ever had, including any and all pre-uni jobs. Benefits are nice, but are not worth the stress and burnout.
It is also worth to mention that this review is very much toned down. If I would see and hear even 5% of the things I experienced in my time at the company, I would not even consider applying.
