The Forter marketing organization, to put it kindly, is a hot mess. The CMO is in over his head and has brought in a team of unqualified “leaders” across marketing which has lead to chaos. Much of the team lacks direction and clarity and there’s a constantly revolving door of tension and frustration that is fueled by favoritism and ignorance from the CMO. This all has lead to a toxic and unproductive environment. Marketing leadership is quick to point fingers and let others take the fall for the teams shortcomings but fails to realize that they lack fundamental marketing skill let alone leadership skills to support the team.
