Pros
-Free snacks and soft drinks -Good views from Houston office -Ops department is extremely helpful and goes out of their way to find solutions and be helpful
Cons
-There’s no long term road map or strategy and most of the projects I’ve worked on end up getting tossed out the door because the CEO dreams up something else he wants us to work on at the last minute. -Crappy benefits. Health insurance is really expensive if you have a family and not very good coverage. HR isn’t very helpful at all. -No investment in personal development or career growth -Not everybody has to have a annual review and the process is not fair. Only new people and junior people review each other. CEO doesn’t follow same feedback process for people who report to him. -There are constantly new people being hired and growth is happening too fast. In my department productivity is decreasing not increasing as new people are added because we are constantly spending time training new peeps. -Some of the leaders are very mean and take pleasure in belittling you in meetings. -The culture is very cliquey
