Pros

-You learn a lot of the basics of being a security guard or property manager if you’re interested in that. -Some good coworkers. -Offers some online courses for your development. -If you have a good property manager, things will be much better. -Some very nice residents who are respectful. -Lots of opportunities for promotions and career development.

Cons

-You learn a lot because you have to do everything alone. -Poorly Managed -Terrible compensation for what your job duties are. -Major lack of support. -You will be constantly on call to be contacted for situations after hours-no exceptions. -You will have to jump through lots of hoops to get some vacation time and constantly remind them of it or else they will not remember it. -High turnover rates. -You don’t always get a good property manager and will end up taking the brunt of their mistakes as the first point of contact for residents. -Some nasty residents as with any company, but if you’re verbally abused they won’t do much to back you up.

Pros

They take good care of the office people

Cons

Field workers are second hand citizens. Nepotism by language. Promote people that don't have the skill sets to do the job. The people that have the common sense to be leadership at this point don't want the responsibility anymore. What does that say?
