Pros

You get to go to events for free. Healthcare is good.

Cons

The "training" is a joke in that you barely get any. I spent my first week basically doing nothing because I was given no assignments, no direction, and little communication. But then, suddenly they will expect you to essentially take on the role of 4 different jobs yourself: write and edit your own articles (there should always be an editor, but there is none) that they will give you no direction for but then be mad it isn't what they "wanted because you had no guidelines and aren't a mind-reader; create and manage all of the social media content (they will keep increasing the number of articles and social posts they want per day even though, again, you are one person); track and analyze the analytics for the site and socials; attend all of the Fever events and make content for those (again, with no direction but still berated when it isn't what they wanted). In the multiple years I was there I didn't receive a single promotion, raise or bonus, despite doing multiple jobs and consistently receiving higher and higher quotas expected to be met. Suddenly, you'll find yourself being forced to work longer hours nearly every day, as well as weekends, just to get all of the required work done. There is zero communication between the two companies, the managers/editors and their staff, or the managers/editors with each other, which will result in having to redo work multiple times as you're told to do different things by different higher ups. When they want something from you or to berate your work they'll message you nonstop, but when you reach out with questions they won't answer for days or sometimes at all (Bianca Bahamondes).
