Pros
Federated Wireless has a clear and meaningful mission, and it’s energizing to work on problems that have a real impact on the wireless ecosystem. The team is incredibly smart, collaborative, energetic, and supportive, and there’s a strong sense of shared ownership in the work we do.
I genuinely enjoy coming to work each day, not just because the work is interesting and creative, but because of the people and the mission. There’s room to think creatively, contribute ideas, and see them turn into real outcomes. Leadership has become more transparent and focused in recent years, and there’s been noticeable improvement in communication, processes, and long-term planning. For a smaller company, employees have real visibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, which makes the work especially rewarding. No matter what level your job function is, you will always feel like a valued member of the team.
Cons
Like many companies, Federated Wireless went through a difficult period during COVID, which created some instability and stress that is reflected in older reviews. As a growing company, resources can still feel stretched at times, and priorities can shift quickly. That's just the nature of a smaller business.
That said, there has been a clear and consistent effort to learn from past challenges and improve how teams are supported. Each month, I see visible progress in how the company operates. It’s still a small company, but it’s moving in a much more stable and positive direction.
