Pros

Great Employee perks and compensation through health care, Joon, health and wellness needs. Slack stops in the evening time which allows for the work/life balance that's needed for the most part. The product is good.

Cons

Leadership is extremely unprofessional. Leaders openly talk behind employees’ backs, even during meetings with note recorders present. There is no HR department. When asked who to go to for support, the founder stated, “There’s a reason we don’t have HR; we don’t need them.” Leadership and employees are deeply intertwined outside of work (dating each other, living in the same apartment buildings, partying together), which creates favoritism and an unhealthy power dynamic. Department heads are aggressive, dismissive, and uninterested in collaboration. There is a strong hierarchy where those “below” leadership are not respected. If you are not part of the original inner circle, your role is extremely unstable. Many employees are let go within 6 months or less. Expectations are unrealistic. Employees are expected to deliver massive results in days, often without proper resources, support, or team collaboration. Feedback is not welcomed. Leadership does not listen, and employee input is consistently dismissed as wrong. The company has a very high turnover rate, and many roles remain open for months at a time for a reason. Leadership lacks the skills to effectively manage, develop, and support the people they hire to do the work.

Pros

The product is really good

Cons

The culture is a major concern. Communication from leadership often crosses into unprofessional and disrespectful territory. Feedback is often delivered reactively rather than constructively, which creates a tense and uncomfortable working environment. The level of frustration internally across multiple teams is high, which significantly impacts morale and retention. Prospective employees should also be cautious about the hiring process itself. Turnover is a persistent issue. Multiple people have accepted roles here only to be let go or leave within weeks or a couple of months of joining. Even a senior executive was terminated just weeks after being brought on. Lastly, I’d encourage anyone reading reviews here to look critically at the timeline. A cluster of highly positive reviews appearing within the same day or a few days right after a wave of negative ones does not appear organic. It does not reflect the experience most employees are actually having, and it gives candidates a misleading picture of the company.
