Experiences vary by site as Eurofins acquires smaller business with their own culture and management teams. My site had a great family feeling, amazing managerial team and exceptional reputation.
Cons
As soon as Eurofins took over things went downhill. Eurofins do not pay their suppliers. They are renowned for this. As buying was done centrally this meant that deliveries wouldn't appear. We would chase the central team to pay and this could take a week, then another week for supplies to arrive. This meant that tests were not performed adequately or even at all, yet results would still be sent out as if they were. This was a gross failing of GLP and GMP. The laboratory was overstretched, Eurofins would constantly add more and more customers but not hire extra staff to cope with workloads. Inevitably, again, tests were not performed but results generated. I was distressed to hear that management and supervisors are expected to work over-time for free! For such a large company the pay is absolutely shocking.
