Cons
Sales tend to be highest during the summer months, when people are more likely to be thinking about solar energy, and they can drop significantly during the winter months. This can lead to uneven income and job insecurity, especially for new consultants who don't have a built-up client base. The upper management is more focused on short-term profits than on building long-term relationships with customers. This can lead to pressure on consultants to cut corners and make misleading claims. I personally witnessed several instances where upper management undermined the work of consultants by pressuring them to use unethical sales tactics.
