Pros
Beyond having a source of income, I did not experience any.
Cons
Your life is your job. At any time of day/night, on any day of the week, you may expect to be contacted by the CEO or her husband for any reason at all. Your personal time/life is absolutely meaningless; as far as they are concerned, you have no such thing (nor any right to it). Their benefit options are very poor and what health insurance is available you will pay dearly for. They are the masters of micro-management. They have no compunctions about lying, whether it is directly to your face or behind your back or to clients (whether or not it's likely that their subjects already know the truth). Calling them out on it only leads to instant subject changes or claims of "that's not what I/we meant". Essentially, your best defense is to ALWAYS assume you are the chattel they view you as and that they are either lying outright or (at the bare minimum) not telling you the whole truth and never succumb to their bullying...while you seek alternative employment.
