Pros

I worked at endpoint for over 2 years. Flexible hours and option to WFH.

Cons

The pay is low for this position and industry, and the benefits are okay. I took this job thinking it would be a good place to start my career, little did I know there would be no training, no opportunity for growth, and no support throughout my experience here. Training is pretty much nonexistent. You must learn on the job and teach yourself everything about the product and day to day tasks. Documentation on the system and standard procedures is extremely outdated and difficult to navigate. Everybody seems to do things their own way anyway which is really confusing. Project managers are expected to be experts on the product, manage multiple clients, and troubleshoot complex issues in the system without any proper training. Your manager will be a senior project manager who is supposed to help train you and act as your main support. Unfortunately, they are extremely busy and barely have time to meet with you, let alone think about ways to help you grow in this role. I have not met with my manager in over a month and get very little feedback or guidance from him. Development and testing resources are scarce as well. Developers can decide whether to help you with issues that come up in your project, or work on their own assigned projects. Tickets can go days without being looked at and it takes lots of pestering and asking around to get your issues addressed. Everybody is so overworked here that they do the bare minimum for their projects to get by, rather than focusing on quality solutions. I can tell many of my co-workers don’t enjoy this place, nor are they motivated to succeed here. Before Covid, I worked in the SF office and there was very little interaction between different departments. People opted to have meetings online with someone sitting a few desks away. They would avoid each other in the common areas. Nobody is interested in getting to know each other and the company moral is just low. It’s in a very niche field where some of the skills you’ll learn aren’t transferrable to most other industries. Overall, I don't recommend working here due to this and the lack of training, guidance, and community here.

Pros

Onboarding was a great experience where the person leading it made sure that the group knew everything they needed about the industry and more. My manager has been great between helping solve complicated issues and giving great feedback on my work that I can use to improve what I make. I worked within a smaller group, so everything felt more personal. The work life balance felt great being able to work at home. The work culture was welcoming and encouraging to newcomers, great personable manager.

Internships only last so long!

Pros

Depending who your lead is, you'll have a good lead. From what I heard though, the best one got cut. For the most part, great colleagues. Work is alright, training is also mediocre. This is more of throw all information your way and off you go and learn most of it on the go as the initial training is just the bare basics. When I started, there was a lot of optimism and a great prospect for the future, many possibilities. Pay is okay, you're clocked in then clock out.

Cons

The new director, the new associate director that replaced a great one who had been there for ages. (Btw, they have outsourced many positions including half of tech support to workers in India). Many process changes (usually changes are good but the changes being implemented from what I saw are going to do damage). Too much focus on this new AI product and the main service we offer is getting worse. Won't be surprised if clients go elsewhere. Moral went completely down, no sense of belonging and interacting (this is important especially if a lot of workers are remote). Processes change constantly and project managers will throw questions/work onto tech support when in reality they should know how their studies are built and the answers.
