Pros

Some colleagues that stuck around from Chrome River, Certify and other brands can be great resources and and share the vision that the founders had when they were still apart from these orgs. Unlimited PTO, and other benefits are more than fair. Compensation is a much different story.

Cons

New ELT and management have this company on a downward trajectory. The SMB sales org use to be one of the most successful/consistent segments they had but have now ran it straight into the ground by emphasizing "newer" products that aren't market ready. Sales is ran by the finance department. Everything being built as a "new feature" is just something all of our competitors have. ELT is so detached from reality and have no grasp on the market landscape. Emburse once prided ourselves on customer support and now the only way to chat with an expert or receive the help you need is to pay for it. No one picks up the phone and reaches out for help, this is both internally and externally. Zero product innovation. They still have not and I don't think will ever figure out a marketing strategy of the 6+ expense brands that comprise Emburse. Market has no idea who Emburse is.

Thank you for leaving us a Glassdoor review. We consistently hear that the people at Emburse are what makes us a great place to work along with our benefits. I’m so glad to hear this has been your experience with us. There are several points you brought up on which we disagree. Our customer growth, retention, and feedback all indicate that our solutions are successful and well-valued. We are committed to delivering high-quality, sophisticated, scalable solutions that add tangible financial value to our customers’ organizations. We also aim to deliver the highest level of customer service and support and to be viewed as a true partner to our customers. While we welcome feedback of all kinds and take action against it, I’d also encourage you to reach out to me, your manager, and/or a member of our People Operations team to discuss any of these items further. We are here to help you and want you to have the most positive experience possible. - Danielle Tabor, Chief People Officer

Pros

Pay at scale, AI forward

Cons

Very rigid return to office policy starting soon . Poor office location chosen causing horrible commute and traffic times. No leeway even for those originally hired as remote. RTO being used so local talent quits instead of getting paid out/laid off. Talent will be rehired in a lower cost location. .
