Pros
The office is really cool and modern and you get plenty of free perks, snacks, drinks, Spotify account. The developers also get access to some training app, sales don't get this but they do get to play incentive games and earn early finishes etc. It's a mixture really. I'd say the working environment is pretty relaxed, some departments more than others I guess. However if you're on the phones it's a bit more strict than say the marketing or development teams. I've worked here for a number of years and seen my responsibilities and wage increase during that time. There's a mixture of people that have been at EKM for years and some that have joined in recent times, everyone seems to get on well. Most people who have been here for a number of years have worked their way up into better roles, be it higher positions or just something they wanted to do more than when they started.
Cons
EKM introduced some company values a year or so ago and these get repeated a lot. Whilst this isn't a con in itself, a few people within EKM don't seem to like them and moan a lot about them. Maybe it's the people who've been at EKM for ages and don't get it or don't want to be involved in that type of thing. I don't know. I just hear complaints about it every now and then in and around the office. People tend to complain about everything though, the office has a slide, it's great for a while and then people moan about it. It's too far to travel to the office etc. That probably happens everywhere I guess.
