Pros

- Friendly, ambitious, and driven coworkers - Benefits (unlimited PTO, snacks, budget for team bonding, dental/vision/medical) - A place where you can make an impact if you're liked by the right people

Cons

- Overwork/ no work life balance - Below market pay - No real career progression - No career mentorship - Round after round of layoffs - Pivots business model every 3-4 years Some horror stories: 1) CEO pushed out hired COO who was trying to create more structure as opposed to the existing fratty culture 2) Frequently allowing operations team to be verbally abused by clients 3) One particular manager who did not allow an employee to go to her mom's wedding and another employee to go get a checkup following a car accident 4) Underpays H1B employees, when they're already underpaid (some not breaking 6 figures for tech roles) 5) Promised job security only to fire more than half the company a week later

Pros

- The people: Hands own, the people at Eden are the best part. Everyone care so deeply about the success of the TEAM and are always willing to help one another out. People are kind + compassionate and my Eden co-workers have become some of my best friends. - Ownership + problem solving: I've learned more in 1+ years at Eden than my entire career combined. I've been given the opportunity to learn fast, grow, & develop in a capacity that I never could have imagined at my age/tenure. - Real impact: What I do matters. I can see the direct result of my work. - Fun: We have a ton of fun together - we celebrate the week every Friday with a rose happy hour. We all get a onesie (based on our spirit animal) when we join, and the leadership seems invested on making sure there is a strong, awesome company culture.

Cons

- People work hard at Eden. Not a bad thing since the work is fun + people are awesome, but good to know b/f joining.
