Pros

Earthbound's management puts a lot of emphasis on providing great customer service. I enjoyed this policy because it encouraged me to interact more with the customers, making the time go by quickly. My sales ability and other soft skills improved dramatically during my time at Earthbound.

Cons

The location I worked at was facing a staffing shortage at the time. This forced many of us to work more hours than we had originally agreed to work.

Wonderful team environment to work in.

The store is in the mall so there are the drawbacks of that.

Fun. easy going retail environment

The company hired me to move from one city to another 2 hours away and then closed the location they hired me to work at 5 months after hiring me. I found out later this had to have been in the works all along and it was not communicated to me that this was to be the case. I left a job I had had for 7 years to move to a new city for a fresh start only to shortly after have a piece of that start removed by a company with no compassion. They then offered me a lesser position at another location where the pay wasn't even the least bit comparable. This truly could have been a lovely position where it not for all that got in the way.
