Pros

The company spends a lot of money on events and parties which are fun to attend.

Cons

My experience with ESET has been extremely frustrating. Day‑to‑day decisions seemed driven more by internal politics than by performance or merit. Advancement and visibility often appeared reserved for a small inner circle, while strong contributors outside those relationships were overlooked or ignored. There is a persistent sense of nepotism and favoritism, which makes it difficult to stay motivated or believe that hard work would be recognized fairly. Transparency around promotions, pay, and leadership decisions felt lacking, and feedback was often vague or inconsistent. Over time, this environment eroded trust and morale. If you thrive in political environments or already have the right connections, you may do fine here, but for employees expecting a merit‑based, objective workplace, this can be a very disappointing experience. Would not recommend to professionals looking for fairness, accountability, or growth based on performance alone.
