Pros
I have been working remotely for other companies for more than 5 years, since before COVID-19. I’ve worked at both small companies and S&P 500 corporations. I have never found a company as well-organised as EPAM Anywhere is, when it comes to remote work. I got my all-powerful laptop one week before the start date. I never had to wonder “what should I do”, “who should I ask this question” during my onboarding. A gamified onboarding experience and an automated assistant answered all of the questions I had. I didn’t have to wonder when my salary would get paid, because the Anywhere assistant told me on day one. I didn’t have to wonder how to get benefits or ask for vacation, because the Anywhere assistant told me on day one. I was almost in disbelief. EPAM Anywhere is definitely the right company if you want to get work done, be productive and never bother about “talking to people” or “getting paid”. Everything is properly automated and, even when you need the help of someone, there’s an automated system that will let you know the name of who you should talk to. Even getting promoted is a gamified experience. I’ve learnt that I can request an assessment after my probation period ends. I am still on probation though, which means I haven’t tried.
Cons
If you are not like me and you like talking to people, you might feel lonely. Make sure that remote work is suitable for you, before joining EPAM Anywhere.
