Pros

Free coffee, travel (if position allows), great international colleagues

Cons

They fire women during maternity leave as a common practice. They claim to be a "Top company for women" however they do not offer job security to women for returning back to work. Extremely low salaries. No working from home allowed. No work-life balance. Toxic management. Toxic culture. Expected to work long hours and overtime, but not compensated. Unethical company with unethical practices. Only certain nationalities reach top management.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. The concerns you’ve raised about unethical practices, toxic culture, and discrimination are very serious and do not reflect the values or environment we have at EF. We want to better understand your experience and clarify any misunderstandings. To be clear, we do not terminate employees on maternity leave. We have strong representation of women across all levels, including many many mothers in leadership positions, and we are committed to supporting parents throughout their careers with us. Because your feedback is very different from the culture we stand for, we would appreciate the opportunity to learn more. We encourage you to reach out to your manager, Recruitment and Employee Development team, or email hr@ef.com so we can learn more about your specific experience and ensure your concerns are properly addressed.

Pros

You get to choose your tour and recruit the students you want to bring. The paid chaperone ratio is 6:1, so it is very manageable. The tours are great and the local experts are wonderful.

Cons

Company support is variable. There is high turnover and new consultants are very sales motivated and don't always get the nuances of your school or community group. I have had some WONDERFUL concusltants, but they have always been promoted before I get to work with them again.
