Pros
I found the perfect job! I am well paid, have access to mountains of overtime and emergency call out, plenty of very flexible holiday, a great pension, and they pay me £1k every Christmas on top of my usual salary. I am field based, so I visit customer's homes and install smart electric and gas meters. The freedom I have to complete my job is immense, and Eon NEVER pressurise me to meet or exceed targets. When they say they put customers at the heart of everything we do, they really do mean it. All we care about is helping, and being incredibly safe in our job. Eon is the largest energy supplier in the world with the exception of the state Chinese energy supplier, so opportunities to progress are nigh-on endless. Our managers are amazing, and their managers are just as good. Would highly recommend Eon to anyone.
Cons
There probably are as with any business, but none that make me feel negative. They are extraordinarily quick to react to any problems or shortcomings they have in the whole operation. They get it wrong sometimes, but they are honest and transparent about how they will negotiate that.
