Pros

I worked here for a part time job to make extra money on the weekends. The best part of it was that along with the paycheck i got every week, I also was able to come home with tups after every shift. My coworkers were friendly and easy to get along with, I was able to have fun on the job with them and also made some friends. I got along with my manager and she generally treated us fairly. I liked that i was able to make connections with regular customers. I stayed there for a couple years and I don't have many complaints. For that time in my life I was satisfied.

Cons

The only outright downside of working there was dealing with some customers. Anyone who has ever worked in retail of food service knows what I mean. There are always customers who complain almost no matter what you give them. I didn't have much room to grow either. Pretty much the only option was to move up from being a crew member to a shift leader which was not much of a change. There was not much of an increase in pay either. There were a couple people who were difficult to work with as well and although i got along with most of my coworkers some were very difficult.

Pros

Every once in a while you are granted a 15 minute break

Cons

There are significant concerns regarding management’s leadership and communication practices. Employees often receive criticism in a manner that feels disrespectful rather than constructive, and support from management is limited despite high expectations placed on staff. Professional boundaries are also a concern, as discussions between management and employees about employees occur inappropriately among coworkers. Greater emphasis on respectful communication, employee support, and professionalism would help foster a more positive workplace culture. They also promise pay, after employees were not paid correctly management basically state “too bad I can’t fix it” even though that is illegal in the state of VA.
