Pros
- My manager for the first two years was supportive and genuinely invested in my career development. Will always be grateful to her. - Paychecks were always on time.
Cons
- The work environment is highly unstable, with a lack of direction and support from upper management. The fact that even product managers are leaving speaks volumes. - The organisational culture is extremely toxic, with cliques and a hierarchy that fosters a lack of respect and support among colleagues. - Onboarding and training are virtually non-existent, leaving new employees to fend for themselves. This leads to a cycle where individuals struggle to perform and then face backlash for not meeting expectations. - There is no real career progression, and job security is minimal, making it difficult to justify staying. Managers often display incompetent and demeaning behaviour, treating subordinates poorly and failing to provide necessary guidance or mentorship. - Despite being in a corporate setting, the salary and benefits do not match the effort required, and raises are negligible, making it a struggle to stay motivated. - The company's leadership is disconnected from the workforce, and this disconnection extends to managers who often have no idea what’s happening on any given day.
