Pros

-Great owner and management (supportive and friendly) -Great coworkers -Work from home (they try hard to keep staff "connected" since going remote) -Never gets boring (for me, at least)

Cons

Pay tends to be below industry standard, but they're aware and taking steps to improve. For example, they introduced profit sharing and are working on expanding verticals.

Pros

The owner of the company and upper management are fantastic! My best boss by far and above. I loved the challenges everyday provided and there was so much potential for this company to go big. The company is fulfilling a hole in IT that has previously been unnoticed or at best, improperly supported. The company literally has a powder keg of great ideas, technology, and implementations. The owner and the operations manager I reported to were very understanding and flexible. I found out I had some medical issues while employed and instead of dropping me when my job performance suffered, they were patient and helped encourage me to work through it! I cannot offer enough positive words for the owner and his character.

Cons

The coworkers, and low/middle management are toxic. There is a lot of inter-office gossip which borderlines on slander. The upper level management and owner of the company are trying their best to bring it under control but it just doesn't seem to be moving along. The pay was a little low for my position but not enough to warrant real concern (I had no degree during my employment). The Standard Procedures change far too often. Yes the company is growing and they are learning how to do business better, but things changed too often and never really took hold with staff. Most staff are not qualified to do their job properly and thus rely on more experienced employees and management for assistance leading to a lot of stress and just wasting time waiting for a solution. There aren't many opportunities to advance or move into a greater position.

Digital Technology Partners Response

Dear Anonymous, First, I want to say thank you very much for the kind words about me personally, and the complements of our business potential, and work and challenges that you enjoyed while employed with us. I am aware of your feelings about the environment, and some of your previous co-workers. Unfortunately, I wasn’t made aware of your feelings prior to your resignation. We worked with you through some of your medical issues, but you didn’t give me a chance to work on the HR issues you mentioned before leaving. Since your departure many things have changed, and I can say with confidence I think you would find the changes positive. I hope you have found success in your new venture, you were a very bright employee. I truly wish you the best. To any potential new candidate that might be considering employment with Digital Technology Partners, I want to share some of my personal beliefs as the owner of the company. Our company is great, because of the employees that work within it. I feel life is too short for micromanagement, and undue stress. I believe in my people, and hire them to do the job they were hired to do. If you perform, you will be asked very few questions. If you are not performing, we will see what we can do to help. We try to make everyone successful. Open communication is key, and that is all I ask from anyone. Sincerely, Jonathan Kendrick
