Pros
The office windows are locked, so at least no one can jump out.
Cons
The Ops managers are loathsome cretins. They sack people for fun, walking them out of the office in front of everyone, and have next to no true intelligence outside of creating pivot tables. Complete and utter sociopaths. Terrible daily rates for Case Handlers (based on the pitiful internal banking systems and poor training) Lack of support Terrible Team Leaders who are chosen because they're "yes" people. Case Handlers often work 60-70 hour weeks for £120 a day and once every three months someone who probably doesn't deserve the recognition gets given a box of Celebrations. It's insulting. Chocolates? Where are the grown-up bonuses? Spa day, meal out, vouchers, money behind the bar, cash bonus, etc. A tiddly box of chocolates for the life commitment to the project is embarrassing and demeaning. HR are lovely, but they don't follow any complaints up with sincerity and only look out for Deloitte's interests. Good people are abused and let go because certain senior members of the tea, are threatened by kindness and intelligence. Packed in to the office like sardines. Morale amongst Case Handlers is always low.
