If I had to sum up my time at Defiant in a few words, it would be: supportive, rewarding, and challenging in the right ways. I genuinely believe people make a company, and Defiant proved that to me. I had the chance to work alongside an incredible group of genuinely senior operators. Unlike other agencies I’ve worked at that were heavy on juniors, everyone here knew their craft. It created an amazing, ego-free, collaborative environment where you actually learn from the people around you. On a personal level, the support was unreal. I went through two surgeries and had a child during my time here, including needing time off right in the middle of Christmas. The team and leadership were nothing but understanding and supportive. When issues came up, I could have open conversations with the owners and genuinely felt heard. It was also incredibly rewarding. The culture of sharing knowledge is real people regularly come together to talk through what’s working, what’s not, new trends, and tests. Everyone brings gold to the table, and you constantly level up just by being in the room. This has genuinely been one of the best places I’ve ever worked, primarily because of the people. I never had a bad experience with my peers or the owners, and my departure was purely due to unexpected external reasons, not the company itself.
