Constant micromanaging and bullying from staff, especially from staff that had no position in the first place. Mangers will turn a blind eye to outrageous/inhumane behaviour and bullying from staff if they are more favourable. Even if you’ve been assaulted/harassed, they don’t care. Extremely toxic work environment in itself, heard on multiple occasions mangers talking down on their staff. To how they became mangers in the first place, I truly do not know. The staff food is such a joke. Eggs on toast for working a full day shift as well as, kitchen staff getting pissy for asking for the smallest things like sauce or an extra side. Working everybody like dogs and to death but not able to give staff the human decency of having a proper meal. We don’t even get service charge, it all depends on some service charge which is illegal, unethical and twisted. Our hard work is based on some dinner checklist and if you pass it or not. If you don’t pass the company openly welcomes that hard earned money into their pockets. Talk about greed. If at times it was not busy, management would literally attack staff for talking with one another, but then go and do exactly the same thing? Acting as if talking on shift is illegal. Jokeman. Not to mention, the inconsistency with shifts. Management will take away your scheduled shifts without no explanation, but when you’d like to time off you get attacked for it. Avoid like the plague, this place is truly awful and toxic. Not an environment to be working in !!!
