Pros
There is so much chaos that you can get a very important role right from day 1. Great way to vault forward your sales career. Go from an SDR to selling to the Fortune 500 instantly.
Cons
Management is ego-driven and ADD. Nobody knows anything about their own industry. The technical team doesn't communicate with the sales/marketing team whatsoever, nor do they have any ability at all to relate to customers. The product is completely repurposed from its originally intended design. The management team has a reputation for screwing over long term employees, withholding commissions, taking away late stage deals on a whim, reneging on promotions. There is no HR department. Multiple people have sued ownership for wrongful dismissal. There is no structure. The only rules are "whatever ownership feels like that day". Ownership will never really delegate any power or responsibility. Its a testament to the margins in tech that this company is still in business.
