Pros

- You get to work in an agile manner and produce amazing products in talented cross-functional teams that really support you. - The company culture is amazing and lets you thrive while being flexible to your needs. Ping pong, free breakfast & snacks, drinks on Fridays, open spaces to collaborate, innovation days, free training and regular company outings make it a really fun place to work. - As an employee you are given a lot of autonomy and trust which really allows you to add your own personal flare to any project you work on as well as giving you a voice in project decisions. It is one of the few places I have worked where developers, QA, design and product are included in all phases of a project life cycle to ensure it is being delivered in the best way possible from the whole team as a collective. - You get exposure to a variety of interesting projects which gives you experience in different technologies, exposure to different businesses sectors and allows you to work alongside different colleagues on a regular basis which keeps things fresh - xDesign has a great mentorship structure in place to ensure you are able to achieve your own personal goals and help you grow in the company. Due to the lack of bureaucracy, there is plenty opportunity to grow in the company and take on as much responsibility and ownership as you are comfortable with.

Cons

The salaries might not be as high as some of the big banks or product companies offer but the experience and enjoyment you get working in this environment far outweighs that. The compensation is still very generous

Pros

Nice benefits and some of the people were really lovely. I felt that I was paid fairly at the time.

Cons

Wow. This could be a long list…the cronyism was thick in this place. If you aren’t one of them, you’re dirt. My supervisor was poorly trained and was not interested in becoming trained. She was a lovely person who was in over her head. I was relied upon to do my job and hers. When she left, I wasn’t offered her job. My guess is because I didn’t take any malarkey off of anyone. The CEO was very moody. He’d be nice sometimes then horrible to you to the point I cried a lot in the toilets and on the bus home. A plumber was threatening to thrash him for his behaviour. HR was the worst. When I handed in my notice I was immediately given garden leave so I’d be quiet.
