As is the case with many startup organizations, we have experienced bumps in the road while expanding our new field-based model to a national level. As a result, we had to move things around internally. Since the shift, we have put a high priority on professional and personal development so managers can effectively lead their teams. More specifically, those in leadership positions have been enrolled in courses to better navigate change, emotional intelligence, employee coaching and performance management.
