Pros

I would say the pro is we take care of elderly people, but we really don’t do that either. We can’t keep people because of poor management. We lay people off or get rid of the good every couple months. The only reason I work here right now, is it is a guaranteed check for now, while i look for another job.

Cons

Bad leadership, bad management and most of all leaders that do not listen and allow great employees to be bullied out of the company. Shame on you. You have bullied the BEST employee away who gave u all hope. This company is not worth becoming a part of, do not work here.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you voicing your concerns and take them very seriously as bullying is never acceptable in our organization. We value our employees and company culture and would like to hear more details about your experience. If you feel comfortable, please send us an email at hr@concertohealth.com. As is the case with many startup organizations, we have experienced bumps in the road while expanding our new field-based model to a national level. As a result, we had to move things around internally. Since the shift, we have put a high priority on professional and personal development so managers can effectively lead their teams. More specifically, those in leadership positions have been enrolled in courses to better navigate change, emotional intelligence, employee coaching and performance management. Thank you again for all your efforts to provide care for the vulnerable, frail and elderly patients through your position at ConcertoHealth.

Pros

High salaries because they couldn’t get anybody to work for them, needing to pay more.

Cons

How long can Concerto claim to be a start up company? HR spoke about the “new” approach to helping members by offering wraparound services for treatment. This is not a new concept! These services are supposed to be offered for all MMP members. It’s contractual! Before closing clinics, members could receive PCP services in their home. After closing most of the clinics, the in-home PCP services were only offered for very few members. Care was not coordinated between the Care Coordinator and the staff in the clinics. Our own staff would not respond to requests for help for members because they were too overwhelmed. Of coarse, your statistics for readmissions are declining but that is because Concerto is down to one partial contract! The reason Concerto is offering “training” opportunities to managers is because they laid off everybody outside of Washington and only kept the managers who wanted to stay.

Terrible Place to Work

Pros

I've met a lot of wonderful people working here. The employees really seem to care about the patients and about each other.

Cons

First, the executives don't seem to care about the patients. They are only concerned with making money for themselves. They have a COO Chrissie Cooper who is a complete jerk. She prides herself on firing people. She thinks it's just a game. They need to fire her. I've been in meetings with her and she speaks to people with total disrespect. You may not always agree with someone, but there is a better way to do that than roll your eyes at someone. Seriously, she is a jerk, a bully and they need to get rid of her. If I could give them 0 stars or negative stars, I would.
