Where to start…..unrealistic, borderline insane, expectations for constantly working overtime even when work load at a department level is light. Yes, I’m confused by the logic of that too! You will be penalized for using your (very limited)
paid time off as all management cares about are billable hours and utilization rates. There are too many people pushing to become management and it shows that management positions are awarded based on personal relationships/company loyalty rather than any skill in management. I’m constantly in awe at how so many incompetent people are in charge here. The company “core values” are nothing more than a PR move to post on Linkedin. The culture is nonexistent because anything that would improve company morale/colleague relationships is not billable and therefore not valued, unless of course it’s on your own time off the clock. No opportunities for growth or creativity, just cookie-cutter projects on constant repeat as that’s where they see the biggest opportunity for profit. Pay isn’t competitive within the industry either.
