Pros
- Opportunity to work on many projects initially. - Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with web, gaming, Android, and iOS teams. - Met some of the good people there who helped a lot throughout my journey.
Cons
- The company initially promised a package upon full-time conversion. However, after six months, salary was reduced by a huge margin, also added a variable, which was never mentioned during the hiring process. This was highly demotivating. - The management played favoritism, and the Android team lead (who was also the HR head) constantly blamed backend issues on me, even when the problem was unrelated. My own team was unsupportive, prioritizing their own job security over teamwork. – Despite handling multiple projects independently, I was denied larger opportunities and told that I "wouldn't be able to handle big projects." This was frustrating and destroyed my motivation. – Without prior warnings or performance concerns, I was placed on a notice period with false claims that I delivered projects late—even though I always met deadlines. The company expected an junior developer to perform at a 3-year experience level.
