Pros

This used to be a good company family owned company. Everyone worked together as a team from top to bottom and it was fun. The pay wasn't above average but it was fun. There was a lot of encouragement for personal growth with the belief that if people were inspired, talent would grow and so would the company.

Cons

There is a sharp division between management and labor. The company lacks leadership as management is nearly unapproachable and unsupportive. Problem solving lays on the backs of those who do the work and it does so without backing from management. Expectations are continuously "do more and more with less people in less time. Too much bureaucracy for this size company and too many chiefs.

Pros

They have great employee benefits. They pay out of pocket for many of your nececities for work and outside of work. 3 bonuses every year. Small company more personal. It's more of a laid back environment you don't have to worry about accidentally cussing, or things in that nature. Co workers are good people.

Cons

The pay is low, far below state and national averages. Don't expect to rise any higher than the bottom. You're expected to do far more than your job requires and you are not compensated for it. A "packager" is expected to not only package the product but fill it as well as doing everything besides loading it into the truck. You're also responsible for maintenance and cleaning of the machines unless you absolutely require the maintenance guy. They rarely hire from within. Most of the supervisors treat you as if you're dumb and don't listen to you, as well as people above your supervisor. Very unorganized. Constantly stopping Nd changing projects before they are finished. I mainly blame the management for the issues. You will be blamed for anything that goes wrong, even though it's most likely managements fault for the lack of organization. The 3rd shift supervisor is probably the only good supervisor. 1st and 2nd shifts supervisors are both incompetent liars that can't take responsibility for their mistakes or stand up for their employees. Moral is horribly low. The company thinks they need less people, even though they are growing 20% or more a year.
