Pros

Cons

Don't know where to begin..... If you have a STEADY job, DO NOT Leave for this place. Very poor management, who take no responsibility and feed you with things you want to hear. Then back track when you ask questions. Bully & blame culture - right through the organisation from top to bottom. Poor Senior Management - they think it's acceptable to speak and treat staff how they do. Not sure how they sleep at night. If you have a problem, don't speak up because they won't do anything anyway. Line managers don't support you, they just do as they are told and don't get to manage the teams properly so why have them. No clear role objectives - can't meet targets if the goal posts change constantly and if information isn't provided. As the saying goes to many chiefs.... All the skills you had prior will diminish due to being nullified, and you'll wonder how this happened. No care in staff, go on as many events as you like it's just a cover up. Half Year and Yearly Reviews set up but your manager won't show, they also don't turn up to meetings as and when. Surely they should be leading by example having (Director) in their title. Does anyone pull them up for not following process or mistakes. Constantly dismissed in meetings, stonewalled every request. Toxic behaviour with bully mentality. Don't keep withholding information or resources, stops people doing the job they need too. HR function needs to be one-step removed, and not take sides. Pointless calling it a HR department if it's not impartial to anything happening. Staff have nobody to turn too. If your a confident person when you arrive, you won't be when you leave. This will have been beat out of you due to no encouragement of entrepreneurial spirit just do it the Certero way, manage how they want you to manage. Staff aware of what is going on, they just choose to say nothing because you will be black marked. Staff are just as bad for turning a blind eye and supporting this culture and behaviour by siding with the line manager to gain brownie points in front of them.

Pros

Fair salary, great product, holiday schedule is good, great people in the staff level

Cons

Working here was like being part of the TV hit reality show survivor with the CEO and co-owners being on separate tribes and alliances plotting against each other to see who can create more chaos. Constant plot twists of new job roles or shifts to new teams to avoid providing you constructive reviews and annual raises, promising to address concerns once getting through the next big process change only to change the process again. They will be sure to axe you before your 2nd anniversary, this is to ensure no employee is protected by UK labor laws. They will conceal these as mysterious and shocking "decisions to leave to pursue other opportunities" to those sticking around still drinking the Kool aid with eyes wide shut! Ironically many staff's resignation comes within days of taking paid leave while upper management seems to play a famous game of Hide and Seek and take more vacation than hours worked. The lack of understanding or care to understand how health benefits work for the employees in the US or make them attainable without sacrificing your first born child is astounding. A unique experience that will build character, resilience, and a strong desire to pursue greener pastures. Never seen so many people "leave" in such a short time frame, never had so many managers in that same short time in my entire career. This is a job, do not expect a career here.
