      Horrendous experience - Please don't work here! - Senior Team LEader Central England Co-operative Employee Review

      Pros

      Some of the staff, and customers were alright. I worked my way up to duty manager, and was with the company for 6 years. It was actually an alright place to work back when it was Anglia Co-op...then it got taken over by Midland and it went downhill fast. The company as it exists today really is horrible. I really, really implore anyone reading this to never apply to this company - I promise you will regret it!

      Cons

      After takeover, re-branded as Central England, and after a consultation period a lot of staff were made redundant. Policies, procedures and management at all levels were absolutely horrible to work with. I would never go back!

      Pros

      Lots of perks, such as company car, flexible working.

      Cons

      Weekend/late working with quick turnarounds, expected to pickup from the absence of others. No where to progress there after.

      Lovely coworkers, especially managers. Not a demanding job.

      Nothing. I have nothing to complain about.
