Pros

I met some amazing individuals while working here from all aspects of the business. Working with good people always makes the job a little bit easier, however…..

Cons

I was a part of the many companies that got acquired by Cart. They sell you on being the next big thing, however they are so driven on “driving the boat forward” they don’t realize all the holes they have on their ship. I’m assuming they promise investors “x” and are way ahead of their skis. What does that create? Chaos. You over promise and under deliver on EVERY aspect of the business guys. And who do you leave out to hang to dry? The people putting in the daily work. You have a moving target on everything and never explain the “why”. It’s always “this is the new objective get it done or your gone”. I had such high hopes with Cart taking over, but to be honest, the decision makers don’t know what they are doing. It’s a sad knowing that it’s not a matter of IF good employees are going to be released, but rather what’s the next decision that is going to make my job disappear. Tbh, it’s a matter of time till this business sinks. Omair, you are a good guy my friend, but you should’ve handed off the rains many moons ago. You are a forward thinker, not an operator and god knows not a culture expert.

Pros

Absolutely zilch. If I have to say something, then I am always paid on time with no issues.

Cons

I truly do not know where to begin. You know that comic of the rowboat with one rower and the executives at the top? "I don't get it. After all the budget cuts to streamline the workforce, why are we not moving faster?" Yeah, that sums up Cart.com pretty well. The executive team has absolutely no idea what to do, won't work together, and doesn't seem to care about the company's overall success. They are so lucky the market is terrible right now, but as soon as things turn around people will be leaving in droves. They have ground us into the dirt and underpaid us, not given merits and absolutely abysmal bonuses for years (I'm talking about being given a few hundred dollars and told to be grateful), and yet still have the audacity to ask everyone for more: more of their time, more of their energy, more of their soul. If you're a Vice President or higher, well then congrats :clap clap: you're in the club. If not, well then literally no one cares about you. You can put in 3, 4, 5 years at this company, and they will lay you off like you just started yesterday. It is just soul crushing for the executives to show absolutely no humanity time and time again.
