Pros
You got paid on time.
Cons
The job started out decent enough. Wasn't thrown into the mix immediately, and allowed to settle in, however, the minute you're given real work there is mercy no longer. You're "trained" but no one does any of the work the same way, there is an outdated system (that management is always talking about replacing) and tug of war between the powers that be on how to do things. Despite all of this, unless you already have an idea of where you want to go, you're never given a real mentorship, formal training or guidance. You won't be promoted, unless you literally apply for a higher position yourself. Favorites are picked, and based off that will determine how much say you have on the type and volume of work you get. Oh and let me mention the turnover. You think turnovers awful in your department, but then you find out it's high in every department. Even Vice Presidents constantly resign or get fired. By the time I resigned, my mental health was hanging by a thread.
